About ComplianceLink
ComplianceLink was developed in response to the practical challenges accounting practices face as AML/CTF obligations expand under Tranche 2 reforms.
Where it came from
ComplianceLink's framework was developed specifically in response to AUSTRAC's Tranche 2 reforms applying to accounting practices.
The underlying approach draws on experience building compliance record-keeping systems under regulatory pressure — but ComplianceLink itself was built from the ground up for the specific challenges accounting practices are facing
Firms need more than policy templates to handle their existing client bases. ComplianceLink was built to provide that system, a practical way to apply AML/CTF requirements across existing clients without disrupting operations.
Most firms know they need to comply. They just don't have a system to make it happen without disrupting operations
AML obligations are new for most accounting firms. A generic template is rarely enough. Each engagement is carefully scoped following a diagnostic, and implemented based on client complexity and firm size
What ComplianceLink Provides
ComplianceLink is delivered as a service-led, hands-on engagement.
Because every firm operates differently — different practice management systems, workflows, and onboarding methods — we work directly with your firm to apply the framework to your specific client base, configure your risk logic, and ensure documentation is structured appropriately.
Each engagement is scoped following a diagnostic and implemented for your firm's specific circumstances.
ComplianceLink provides workflow infrastructure and governance tooling. Regulatory responsibility and client risk decisions remain with the firm.
ComplianceLink does not provide legal advice and does not replace a firm's obligations under the AML/CTF Act.
The objective is simple
ComplianceLink provides structured workflow tooling and governance infrastructure to support AML/CTF compliance. It does not provide legal advice. Regulatory responsibility and client risk decisions remain with the firm. AUSTRAC dates referenced are accurate as of February 2026 — refer to austrac.gov.au for current guidance.
